Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm EST - working in North American company

Salary: $1400 - $2000 USD / month

About the Company: We offer two main products: a member data platform, and a web and e-commerce platform. Our member platform is the world's first of its kind, revolutionizing data management for associations, while our e-commerce platform caters to the unique website needs of associations, leveraging the power of WordPress and WooCommerce. We're looking to hire a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist, working mostly with WordPress. Our whole team is remote, we've been around for over 20 years - we would love to work with LatAm talent!

About the Role: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to work directly with our clients and staff to help us deliver smart and accessible web solutions, that exceed our clients’ expectations. This role will be responsible for working directly with our Web Developers and Project Managers, to handle the hands-on review and testing of web projects. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a more accessible and inclusive internet, focus on the successful delivery and quality assurance testing of our web solutions, and gain a thorough understanding of open-source content management systems, our SaaS product, and our industry-leading integrated solutions.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in quality assurance
2. Experience in a digital/technical agency environment is a plus
3. Experience and familiarity with WordPress CMS
4. WooCommerce experience is a plus
5. Basic knowledge of web standards & best practices such as HTML5, CSS3, WCAG, performance, privacy, and web security
6. Experience with, or interest in learning, automated testing systems and practices

Responsibilities:

1. Thoroughly report and track deficiencies in website projects to ensure they are efficiently understood and resolved
2. Define test cases, and conduct manual end-to-end testing for complex integrated web solutions, including:

• WordPress CMS
• WooCommerce
• Other integrated external platforms
