Allata is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a client product team and ensure quality across a growing technology platform. The role combines automation with exploratory testing, working closely with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced environment where quality is a shared responsibility.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, curious, and comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve testing efficiency while applying solid QA judgment to validate results and drive release quality.

Formación

• 2+ years focused on test automation.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright.
• API testing experience with REST Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate, or similar.
• Familiarity with MongoDB queries for test data setup and verification.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI assistants in testing workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain end-to-end UI automation for an Angular app using Cypress.
• Develop and maintain automated API and contract tests for Spring Boot REST services and SQS/SNS event flows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines; keep tests fast and reliable.
• Translate Jira acceptance criteria and Figma designs into test plans and scenarios.
• Perform exploratory, regression, and functional testing across QA and UAT environments.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects with clear repro steps and evidence.
• Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders for defect triage and resolution.
• Assess automation coverage and seek improvements in speed and reliability.
• Use AI tools to generate test cases and expand coverage, validating outputs.
