AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, leveraging AI coding tools in daily workflows.

You will work with modern web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask), integrate Snowflake and relational databases, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions. This role offers flextime, remote/office options, and a chance to work on Fortune 500 and top product company projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years backend development with Python and frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development workflows.
• Proficiency with Git, including branch management, PRs and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust Python backend to support core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate with Snowflake, SQL databases and NoSQL databases.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines (Git) for automated testing and deployment.
• Work in Linux/Unix environments and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality via unit testing and reviews.
