Job summary

Abacum, the leading financial planning solution for finance teams, is hiring a Professional Services Associate to deliver implementation projects and drive value realization on the platform.

You'll onboard clients, train them, and collaborate with Engineering and Product to develop innovations, while communicating clearly with senior finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years delivering FP&A/EPM implementations.
• Ability to explain financial and technical concepts clearly.
• Hands-on FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with SaaS project tools and Agile/hybrid methods.
• Strong client-facing communication with senior stakeholders.
• Formal PM qualifications are a plus.

What You’ll Do as a Professional Services Associate:

• Delivery of implementation projects, driving customers to success and value realization on the platform.
• Follow project plans, respecting deadlines, and communicating proactively about progress and risks.
• Craft best-in-class financial models to optimize and enhance clients' existing processes.
• Onboard, train, and support clients, transforming them into Abacum experts.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to brainstorm and develop innovations in our features.

You have…

• 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing a financial planning/EPM platform; this is a requirement, not a nice-to-have (such as Anaplan, Adaptive, Drivetrain, Pigment, or similar).
• Ability to explain financial and technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation), enough to challenge a client's assumptions, not just document them.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to build financial models.
• Experience with SaaS project tools and Agile/hybrid methodologies.
• Strong client-facing communication, comfortable presenting to and influencing senior finance stakeholders.
• Formal Project Management Qualifications are a plus, not a requirement.
