About Us
We are a tech engineering firm delivering custom software development solutions to innovative startups, venture-backed scale-ups, and global enterprises. Our cross-functional PODs—comprising Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers—are the core of our delivery model. Between client engagements, our team contributes to internal initiatives, brand development, marketing, and IP creation.
About the Role
We’re hiring a hybrid Product Manager & Product Designer—a multi-disciplinary operator who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. You’ll lead end-to-end product initiatives, working across strategy, UX/UI design, and delivery for both client-facing projects and internal efforts.
This role is fluid by design:
Project-by-project, your focus may shift from 80% product management and 20% design, to the reverse. Some work may be fully strategic; others fully visual. The through-line is your ability to align teams, build clarity, and deliver impactful digital products—no matter which hat you’re wearing.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities (Across All Projects)
- Drive clarity and alignment across product, design, and engineering functions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Work autonomously while managing shifting priorities.
- Apply AI-enabled workflows to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and delivery.
When You’re Wearing the Product Manager Hat
- Define product vision, roadmap, and KPIs aligned to business and user needs.
- Lead discovery processes, run stakeholder workshops, and synthesize insights.
- Own the backlog: write clear user stories, prioritize features, and manage trade-offs.
- Coordinate sprint planning, standups, demos, and retros.
- Interface with clients and leadership to communicate progress and value.
- Shape go-to-market plans and product narratives in partnership with marketing.
When You’re Wearing the Product Designer Hat
- Translate requirements into wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Conduct or participate in design research and usability testing.
- Build and evolve design systems, pattern libraries, and visual standards.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented with precision.
- Design marketing assets (landing pages, PDF case studies, social content) when needed.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints—digital and print.
Example Project Ratios
- 80% PM / 20% Design: Lead a 12-week AI MVP for a client, while supporting lightweight UI specs and visual presentations.
- 60% Design / 40% PM: Drive UX research and prototyping for an internal product concept, while coordinating backlog and sprint execution.
- 95% PM / 5% Design: Manage product delivery for a fintech client, with light design oversight on marketing collateral.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in digital product roles—product management, product design, or both.
- Track record of shipping user-centric digital products, ideally in startup, innovation studio, or consulting environments (e.g. BCG-X, IDEO, McKinsey Leap).
- Strong foundation in UX/UI design, design systems, and visual communication.
- Fluency with product tools (Jira, Linear, Notion, Confluence, Miro) and design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate ambiguity.
- Confident communicator—skilled in executive presentations, stakeholder alignment, and async documentation.
- Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Notably, ChatGPT, Figma AI, Descript, +++) for design, research, and ideation.
- Ability to create clear executive summaries, feature briefs, and product documentation.
- High adaptability and comfort switching contexts and roles.
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion design, lightweight prototyping (Framer, Webflow), or video editing.
- Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, developer tools, or AI products.
- Experience working directly with clients or executives in consulting-style engagements.
- Ability to contribute to UX writing, product storytelling, or growth experiments.
Internal Contributions
When not staffed on a client-facing engagement, you’ll work on high-impact internal initiatives that drive the company forward. These may include:
- Collaborating with leadership on business development efforts (e.g., pitch decks, case studies, product narratives).
- Partnering with marketing to design and execute content strategies, landing pages, or brand assets.
- Leading or contributing to process and operational improvements—from tooling enhancements to internal frameworks and playbooks.
- Supporting internal product incubation efforts, rapid prototyping, or new IP development.
You’ll be expected to shift seamlessly between client work and internal priorities, leaning into whichever stream creates the most leverage for the company at a given time.
What We Offer
- Fully remote-friendly work culture.
- Opportunity to work on impactful client projects and build internal products from scratch.
- Access to the latest design, product, and AI tooling.
- Smart, collaborative teammates who value autonomy, velocity, and experimentation.
- A fast-evolving environment where your role can grow alongside the company.
