Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Platform Architect to design and run a cloud platform with strong VDI/EUC expertise. You will own the infrastructure lifecycle and advance IaC using Terraform, including remote state via HCP, while collaborating with one teammate and customer stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud-native work, 2+ years in senior capacities, and fluency in English at B2 level. AWS/Azure/GCP exposure and AI-assisted automation are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in cloud-native development.
• Minimum 2 years in senior/lead/owner roles.
• Experience leading engagements with teams of 5+.
• Extensive VDI experience across Citrix, VMware Horizon, AVD, WorkSpaces or Workspot.
• Strong IaC with Terraform and remote state via HCP.

We're looking for a Platform Architect to take charge of designing, running, and steadily enhancing our cloud platform. This position functions mainly as an individual contributor role, demanding a high degree of personal accountability and the ability to operate independently, while still partnering with one additional team member and various customer-side stakeholders. We're after someone with robust Cloud VDI / End-User Computing (EUC) background across any leading hyperscaler or enterprise VDI technology stack, whether that's Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware/Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Amazon WorkSpaces, or Workspot.
