Atlantic Superstore in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing and patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy. You will greet patients, verify prescription details, enter data, and assist with third-party adjudication as needed.

This role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, organizational skills, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights and weekends. Prior pharmacy assistant experience is an asset, and training is provided.

Formación

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities and customer service experience.
• Proficient in computer data entry.
• Available for various shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
• Data entry of patient care information
• Third party adjudication (if necessary)
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
• Stock maintenance through inventory control systems
• Handle customer prescription pickups
• Respond to general OTC inquiries and refer to the Pharmacist when needed
