ecom.jobs is seeking a performance video editor to craft high-volume, test-ready ads for Meta and TikTok. You will cut scroll-stopping UGC and product footage, delivering quick iterations across 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 formats with tight pacing and captions designed for sound-off viewing.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years editing DTC ad campaigns, a strong performance portfolio, and expert Premiere/After Effects skills.

Formación

• 3+ years editing video ads for DTC/ecom brands
• Portfolio of performance-oriented work that converts
• Expert-level in Premiere and/or After Effects (CapCut/DaVinci a plus)
• Strong grasp of direct-response editing: hooks, pacing, retention, captions
• Speed and volume: ship ads weekly without sacrificing quality
• AI-native: generative video, AI voiceover, and AI b-roll are part of workflow
• Able to work US business hours (overlap with US Eastern/Central)
• Self-directed: move fast across briefs and brand voices

Responsabilidades

• Edit high-volume video ad creatives for Meta and TikTok (9:16, 4:5, 1:1)
• Execute quickly from briefs provided by creative strategist
• Cut for hook and hold to stop the scroll and drive CTA
• Assemble raw footage and b-roll into finish with tight pacing
• Design legible captions and synchronized sound for mute play
• Produce multiple aspect ratios and iterations per ad for testing
• Iterate based on performance feedback to improve results
• Use AI tools to scale output without lowering quality
• Deliver production-ready, export-ready files
