Wand is seeking a skilled People Operations lead to run day-to-day HR, own the collaborator experience, and drive end-to-end recruitment for our 150-person, fully remote team across 20+ countries. About the Role

You'll run our People operations day to day, owning the operational side of the collaborators' experience and driving recruiting end to end for a 150 people fully remote team across 20+ countries.

What You'll Do

• HR systems and data: Own Deel as our HRIS and single source of truth - worker records, org structure, and data integrity across employees, EOR, and contractors - and administer the rest of our people stack, including Gusto, Ashby and Lattice.

• Employee lifecycle: Run onboarding from offer to first day and offboarding from notice to last day - contracts, amendments, documentation, system setup, and every operational step in between.

• Benefits and policies: Administer, enforce, and update our benefits and policies.

• Recruiting execution: Drive end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, applicant review, initial interviews, coordination with hiring managers and interviewers, candidate contact, offer negotiation, scheduling and tracking of recruiting metrics.

• Connection across a distributed team: Design and run how our 150-person fully remote team stays connected, organizing monthly virtual and on-site socials, team activities, and the internal channels where culture lives.

• Recognition: Build the programs that mark what matters - work anniversaries, milestones, life events, gifts.

• Employee support: Be the first point of contact for 150 team members on policy, benefits, and process. Stay close to managers and team members and operate as a trusted partner.
  

Who You Are

Core requirements:

• 4+ years in People Operations at tech companies, including time at fully remote and globally distributed startups.

• Experience driving areas of the employee lifecycle end-to-end: recruitment, onboarding, offboarding.

• Experience running hiring for technical and non-technical roles end-to-end: screening, interviewing, and partnering with hiring managers.

• Experience working at fully remote companies with team members across multiple countries.

• Experience across multiple worker types: employees, EOR, contractors.

• Hands-on as an admin of HRIS and ATS platforms. Experience with Deel, Ashby and Lattice are a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal English.

• Strong understanding of HR best practices.

• Strong sense of what good looks like across the employee lifecycle, compliance and documentation.

• Judgment to know what to elevate and what to handle.

• Experience in gaming or consumer tech is a plus.
