Expro is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to oversee workshop support, stores, and procurement functions in Neuquén. You will coordinate resources, manage stock, and assist with safety and quality procedures to support efficient operations.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in workshop support or procurement, and be proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD is desirable. The role emphasizes cost-effective operations, safety, and inter-base cooperation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in workshop support / stores / procurement functions.
• Computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD desirable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Workshop, Logistics, Stores/Purchasing and Certification are performed professionally, safely, and cost-effectively.
• Liaise with operational supervisors to align activity levels and resource needs.
• Assist with procurement of goods and services to meet demands.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to develop supply sources and cost-saving measures.
• Maintain agreed stockholding levels with routine stock rotation, cycles, and counts.
• Ensure Maintenance/Stores/Purchasing procedures are reviewed regularly."
• Foster inter-company cooperation to share resources and meet obligations.
• Attend regular meetings to discuss base issues and policy updates.
• Record and investigate incidents to identify root causes and remedial actions.
• Take prompt steps to address risks to people or the environment.
• Ensure staff, contractors, and visitors are aware of HSE procedures.
• Verify that equipment and substances are suitable and maintained; coordinate servicing.
