Job summary

Expro in Argentina seeks a seasoned professional to support workshop, stores and procurement, ensuring efficient, safe and cost-effective operations. The role requires 7+ years in related functions, an engineering qualification, and strong MS Office/AutoCAD skills.

Knowledge of Wireline, CH Services, P&P and Well Intervention is essential. You will liaise with supervisors, manage stock and participate in safety and QA processes in a demanding energy environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in workshop support / stores / procurement functions.
• Computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD desirable).
• Knowledge of Wireline, Cased Hole Services (CH Services), Plug & Perf (P&P), and Well Intervention operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Workshop, Logistics, Stores/Purchasing and Certification are performed professionally, safely and cost-effectively.
• Liaise with supervisors on activity levels and equipment demands to secure resources.
• Assist with procurement of goods and services to meet demands.
• Develop sources of supply and manage stock to save costs.
• Maintain stock levels with rotation, cycle counts and stock checks.
• Ensure QA procedures in Maintenance/Stores/Purchasing are kept up to date.
• Encourage inter-company cooperation to meet contractual obligations.
• Attend regular meetings to discuss base issues and company policies.
• Record and investigate incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Take steps to address risks to people or the environment arising from work.
• Ensure all personnel are aware of relevant HSE procedures.
• Ensure equipment and substances are suitable and regularly serviced.

Overall Purpose of the Job

To support the operation of purchasing and stores functions, resource allocation within the workshop and equipment tracking and certification. Ensuring they are executed in a professional, efficient, safe and cost effective manner and in compliance with Quality Assurance Management systems.

Key Activities And Accountabilities

• Ensure that all activities: Workshop, Logistics, Stores/Purchasing and Certification are performed in a professional, efficient, safe and cost effective manner to complete satisfaction of the customer – both internal and external.
• Liaise with operational supervisors with regard to activity levels and demands for operational equipment to ensure allocated resources can be in place.
• Assist with the procurement of goods and services to meet operational and customer demands.
• Liaise with purchasing department to develop sources of supply to achieve cost savings, managing stock control and common practices for the benefit of the company.
• Maintain agreed stockholding levels within the stores, ensuring stock rotation, cycle counting and stock taking procedures are implemented and reported as required.
• Ensure that Maintenance/Stores/Purchasing procedures are maintained and reviewed at regular intervals.
• Encourage and develop inter-company / inter-base co-operation at all levels. Looking at resource sharing thus enabling the region and the Group to meet its contractual obligations.
• Participate and attend regular meetings to discuss operational base issues and share updates on latest company policies, structure, future plans, technologies and safety related topics.
• Ensure that all incidents are properly recorded and reported and that an investigation is carried out to establish and rectify root causes.
• Take immediate and appropriate steps to investigate and rectify any risks to people or the environment arising from the work activity.
• Ensure that employees, contractors and visitors are aware of relevant HSE procedures.
• Establish that all equipment, plant and substances used are suitable for the task and are kept in good working condition; this includes the regular maintenance and servicing of equipment.
