Maersk is seeking an Operational Excellence Senior Specialist in LATAM (São Paulo or Buenos Aires). The role focuses on applying The Maersk Way standards, driving problem solving, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across functions.

The successful candidate will develop capabilities through coaching and structured workshops, helping to realize sustainable performance improvements and KPI alignment within the area.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean, or structured problem solving.
• Experience in logistics and/or shipping industry.
• Experience facilitating workshops with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Lean, A3, Kaizen, Six Sigma.
• Performance management experience with KPI analysis and root-cause ID.
• Process mapping and process analysis experience.
• Advanced English, fluent Portuguese, basic Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Implement The Maersk Way (TMW) tools, standards, and methodologies, and support Operating System rollouts across the Area.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives, including A3 and Kaizen events, to address performance gaps and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze processes and performance indicators, identify root causes, and support the definition of countermeasures and expected outcomes.
• Monitor action plans, benefits realization, and KPI performance, ensuring consistent implementation and sustainable results.
• Develop operational excellence capabilities through coaching, facilitation, and knowledge transfer to teams.
