Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking an In-House Engineer in Peru to lead customer engagements on site at major mining operations. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver tailored technical solutions and manage maintenance plans for FLSmidth equipment.

The role requires a technical engineering degree, 6+ years in mining, and strong collaboration across departments, with intermediate English proficiency. On-site work at mining sites offers exposure to advanced equipment and global best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electronics, industrial engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of mining industry experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and track KPIs with leaders.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for mining projects.
• Intermediate English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary point of contact for customers to strengthen relationships across FLSmidth business areas.
• Activates and coordinates Field Services Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Global Specialists to deliver appropriate technical solutions.
• Manages maintenance plans in relation to spare parts requirements for FLSmidth equipment.
• Identifies opportunities within existing customer installations for equipment replacement using FLSmidth parts and consumables.
• Develops, trains, and supports new Site Account Managers and Site Account Representatives to strengthen customer coverage and service delivery.
