Trinetix is seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to join our team and support a major global backbone partner from our Argentina offices. You will monitor IP and transmission networks, manage incidents, and work with global stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable connectivity across regions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in NOC roles, strong TCP/IP/MPLS/BGP knowledge, and hands-on monitoring experience. We value clear reporting, collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a NOC or similar environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across IP/transmission platforms.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, xWDM technologies.
• CCNP Enterprise level knowledge or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with network monitoring tools and incident handling.
• Experience in Linux/Windows environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience documenting incidents and reporting clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the network across IP and transmission platforms and underlying infrastructure.
• Act on alarms indicating service-impacting issues.
• Troubleshoot faults and outages across relevant platforms.
• Resolve incidents at first line to minimize escalation.
• Take ownership of incidents and drive to resolution and restoration.
• Collaborate with third-party providers during troubleshooting.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation during/after incidents.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders during major incidents.
• Track SLA commitments and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Prepare root cause analysis and outage reports.
• Serve as SPOC during maintenance/outages.
• Contribute to development of NOC monitoring tools and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve troubleshooting and information sharing.

Required Skills:

• 3–5+ years of experience in aNetwork Operations Center (NOC)or similar environment
• Strong technicalexpertiseinnetwork troubleshooting across IP and/or transmission platforms

• CCNP Enterprise level knowledge (for IP-focused roles) or equivalent practical experience

• Experience in documenting incidents andmaintainingclear technical reporting

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor the network acrossIP and transmission platforms (includingxWDM), as well as underlying infrastructure (sites, owned and leased fiber)
• Act on alarmsindicatingbothservice-impacting and potential service-impacting issues
• Initiate and performtroubleshooting of faults and outagesacross relevant platforms
• Resolve incidents at first line whenever possible,minimizing escalation to second-level support
• Take full ownership of incidents anddrive them to resolution and restoration
• Collaborate withthird-party providers(hardware vendors, field support, network providers) during troubleshooting
• Ensureaccurateandtimelydocumentation during and after incident resolution
• Maintain clear and structuredcommunication with internal and external stakeholdersduring major incidents
• TrackSLA commitments, follow up on progress, and coordinate resolution across teams
• Prepareroot cause analysis and outage reports
• Act as aSPOC during planned maintenance and outages
• Configure and contribute to the development ofNOC monitoring tools and processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve troubleshooting and information sharing
