Job summary

Producers Rice Mill, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our flour mill in Stuttgart, AR. The role focuses on maintaining instrumentation and PLCs on plant equipment, with opportunities to learn ladder logic and basic PLC programming while supporting safety and GMP standards.

You will plan, install and repair complex equipment, read schematics, and work independently or as part of a team. The schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime as needed, and a strong emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years electrical or industrial automation experience.
Associate degree, state-recognized apprenticeship/license, or a combination of education and work experience.
Detail oriented and self-directed with a customer-service mindset.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to read advanced drawings, schematics and specs with thorough technical skill.

Responsibilities

Maintain instrumentation and PLCs on plant equipment.
Plan, layout, install and repair a wide variety of complex equipment including automatic/robotic machines and process controls.
Attend training to stay current on industry standards; learn programming language as time permits.
Follow all safety and GMP rules; maintain required records and report defects or conditions.
Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
