Position Overview
We are looking for a Telecommunications professional to join our Network Operations Center. This is an international team that provides 24/7 support.

As a member of the team, you will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and resolving incidents across a global network of gateways and telemetry stations using satellite and ground-based communication technologies. In addition to monitoring and first-level support, you will also be involved in preventive and corrective maintenance of critical infrastructure systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor operational status and connectivity of global gateway and telemetry stations.
- Detect, analyze, and resolve network anomalies or failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and escalate when necessary.
- Document incidents in detail and manage tickets in the incident management system.
- Ensure service continuity through real-time monitoring and effective incident resolution.
- Provide customer-facing technical support via phone, email, and chat.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on teleport systems and associated infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on escalations, upgrades, and system changes.
- Operate and maintain monitoring and fault management tools to ensure network health and performance.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Satellite or Cellular Communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
Requirements
- A very strong foundation in telecommunications fundamentals is essential to be considered for this role.
- Hands-on experience with RF systems, high-power amplifiers, converters, antenna drive systems, and baseband equipment.
- Solid knowledge of IP networks, fiber optics, modems, multiplexers, and broadband systems.
- Proficiency with remote monitoring tools, diagnostics, and remote desktop platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience with monitoring and fault management tools.
