Sterlington PLLC is seeking an experienced contract review professional to join our Outsourcing team. This role offers ownership of final quality on high-volume commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, and vendor arrangements, within the firm's turnaround windows.

You will work beside an AI-assisted first pass, applying your legal judgment to client playbooks before QC signs off. The position is 100% remote, independent contractor, EST hours, and requires fluent legal English.

Formación

• 4+ years of legal contract review experience.
• Experience reviewing NDAs under US/UK law.
• Ability to work 100% remotely on EST schedule.
• Fluent written and spoken legal English.
• LL.M. from US/UK preferred but not required.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Perform high-volume initial review of commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements) per client playbooks.
• Verify AI-generated first-pass markup; final calls rely on your judgment.
• Apply playbooks consistently; escalate beyond guidance to QC.
• Identify confidentiality and commercial risks in standard transactions.
• Maintain ticket status and handoffs across shifts for smooth throughput.
• Manage a fast-paced queue while preserving accuracy and turnaround.

The Opportunity

This role gives you ownership of the final quality of every contract that goes out, reviewing at real volume and within firm turnaround windows, working alongside an AI-assisted first pass and applying your legal judgment against the client's playbook before handing off to quality control for final sign-off.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform initial review of a high-volume pipeline of commercial agreements, specifically NDAs, master services agreements, and vendor arrangements, ensuring rapid turnaround and strict adherence to client-specific playbooks.
• Work within Sterlington's AI-powered review workflow, treating each AI-generated first-pass markup as a starting point you verify and correct, with every final call resting on your own legal judgment.
• Apply legal playbooks accurately and consistently, escalating anything outside established guidance to quality control rather than deciding it independently.
• Identify and flag confidentiality and commercial risks within standard transactions, spotting non-standard terms before they reach quality control.
• Maintain accurate ticket status and clean handoffs across shifts, so turnaround stays on track for the next reviewer or QC.
• Manage a demanding, high-volume queue in a fast-paced review environment, delivering accuracy without sacrificing turnaround speed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in legal contract review, including hands-on NDA review under US or UK law.
• Genuine interest in AI and legal technology, with daily hands-on use of AI tools in your own legal work, comfortable working alongside AI as part of your everyday process.
• Strong background in high-volume commercial contract review environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately from detailed legal playbooks and client-specific instructions, escalating anything outside established guidance rather than deciding it independently.
• LL.M. from a U.S. or UK institution, preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate independently in a 100% Remote environment, on a fixed schedule.
• Fluent in both written and spoken legal English, with a strong command of legal terminology and language.
