Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Naturalist to deliver educational and entertaining talks aboard our cruise ships. You will guide guests through wildlife viewing activities and lead tours across diverse ports, sharing insights on marine life and ecosystems.

The role requires a degree in natural sciences, strong presentation skills, fluency in English, and First Aid/CPR certification. You will collaborate on sustainability initiatives and help maintain our onboard natural history

Formación

• Degree in Natural Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related field.
• Experience as Naturalist preferred.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with organization and maintenance of onboard library and resources related to natural history.
• Participate in training to enhance knowledge and skills in natural history.
• Act as a brand ambassador for responsible and sustainable tourism practices.

• Lead guided tours and excursions to explore the local flora and fauna in different ports of call
• Provide informative commentary and answer questions from guests during scenic cruising and wildlife viewing activities
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement environmental and sustainability initiatives on board
• Assist with the organization and maintenance of the onboard library and resources related to natural history
• Participate in training and development programs to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills in the field of natural history
• Act as a brand ambassador for Crew Life at Sea, promoting our commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism practices

Qualifications:

• Degree in Natural Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related field
• Previous experience as a Naturalist or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong knowledge and passion for the natural world, particularly marine and wildlife
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
• Physically fit and able to participate in outdoor activities in various weather conditions
• Valid certifications in First Aid and CPR are required
