Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a Data Analyst to lead web analytics for a U.S.-based education marketing client. The role focuses on GA4 configuration, Google Tag Manager deployment, and accurate data collection from education websites.

You'll own tagging, platform integrations, QA, and privacy compliance across GDPR/CCPA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure trustworthy dashboards and actionable insights for education nonprofit partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on tracking or web analytics experience in a marketing or agency environment.
• Intermediate experience with GTM containers, trigger and variable creation, data layer implementation, and server-side tagging.
• Experience planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across major ad platforms, with working knowledge of pixel and Conversion API configuration for Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Hands-on GA4 experience, including event configuration, key events, and DebugView.
• Comfort with HTML, CSS selectors, and basic JavaScript for tag troubleshooting and custom script implementation, and skilled use of GTM Preview mode and browser developer tools.
• Understanding of data privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA) and consent management platforms, and of how tracking decisions affect Paid Media KPIs.
• Analytical, solution-driven mindset with strong communication; education marketing experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own tag management & deployment — deploy, configure, and maintain pixels and scripts in GTM; build data layers and manage multi-client containers.
• Own conversion tracking & platform integration — connect website activity to paid ad platforms using pixels and CAPI; configure standard and custom events.
• Own QA, debugging & data integrity — audit tags, fix broken events, and verify data in GA4 and platform tools.
• Own data privacy compliance — manage cookie banners, consent mode, and regulatory alignment (GDPR, CCPA).
• Support documentation & cross-team enablement — maintain tagging plans and QA checklists; translate requirements into tracking solutions.
