Job summary

Prometeo Talent is partnering with a US-based education-focused marketing agency to hire a Data Analyst specializing in GA4 and Google Tag Manager. This remote role supports the Data and Analytics team and focuses on building a reliable measurement backbone for campaigns across higher education and nonprofit partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on tracking or web analytics experience in a marketing or agency environment.
• Intermediate experience with GTM containers, trigger and variable creation, data layer implementation, and server-side tagging.
• Experience planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across major ad platforms with pixel and CAPI configuration.
• Hands-on GA4 experience, including event configuration, key events, and DebugView.
• Comfort with HTML, CSS selectors, and basic JavaScript for tag troubleshooting; strong use of GTM Preview mode and browser dev tools.
• Understanding of data privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA) and consent management platforms.
• Analytical mindset with growth orientation; strong communication to explain tracking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Extract, query, and manipulate data using SQL from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Analyze large transactional and consumer datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Build and maintain structured datasets that support recurring reports and business analyses.
• Calculate key metrics such as household penetration, market share, purchasing behavior, and category trends.
• Work with raw and semi-structured data, cleaning and categorizing information as needed.
• Validate data outputs and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support reporting needs and answer business questions through data.
• Translate complex datasets into clear findings and recommendations.
