Placements24 is seeking an experienced Mineral Processing Engineer to manage and optimize the processing plant operations in Sandton. You will oversee crushing, grinding, flotation and dewatering to maximize mineral recovery and ensure cost-effective performance.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in mineral processing, with strong leadership and the ability to develop process control strategies and reports on plant performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Mineral Processing.
• 8+ years of experience in mineral processing.
• Knowledge of comminution, flotation, gravity separation, and hydrometallurgy.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Mineral Processing Engineer to manage and optimize their processing plant operations in Sandton . This role is central to maximizing the recovery of valuable minerals and ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the processing circuit. You will oversee all aspects of mineral processing, from crushing and grinding to flotation and dewatering, applying your expertise to solve complex technical challenges. This is a key position within the mining company, contributing directly to profitability and operational excellence in the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities
