The ROSEN Group in Buenos Aires is seeking a Mechatronics Technician to oversee the electronic assembly of products, perform repairs and tests, and generate documentation in line with ROSEN quality and safety standards.

You will prepare and assemble equipment from drawings, inspect modules, adjust tool parameters, and report documentation issues while supporting site personnel and contributing to continuous improvement in an oil & gas context.

Formación

  • Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of electronic maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, or field operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting field personnel and providing technical expertise.
  • SME for mechanical and electronic systems with documentation experience.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.

Responsabilidades

  • Prepare and assemble mechanical and electronic equipment from drawings and manuals.
  • Perform visual inspections of modules and set tool parameters.
  • Repair or rework equipment according to instructions and ensure proper function.
  • Document assembled equipment in ROSEN databases and report issues.
  • Provide test reports and documentation, and support site personnel.
  • Adhere to ROSEN Quality & HSE guidelines and optimize processes.

What you can expect

The Mechatronics Technician will be responsible for the electronic assembly of products, repairs and tests of equipment used for various kind of products & services and provide the associated documentation, components and spare parts. All assigned work must be performed in compliance with ROSEN Group quality and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparing and assembling mechanical and electronic equipment according to drawings, parts lists, manuals, and configurations.
  • Perform visual inspections of mechanical and electronic modules.
  • Setting tool parameters
  • Repairing/reworking equipment/assemblies according to given instructions
  • Checking all equipment for completeness and correct function, in order to ensure that the
  • equipment fulfill the job requirements as specified
  • Documenting assembled equipment in ROSEN software databases, and reporting
  • documentation problems
  • Providing the required test reports and other documentation
  • Supporting site personnel
  • Carrying out all activities in accordance with the ROSEN Quality & HSE guidelines and instructions
  • Constructing electromechanical assemblies from assembly documents
  • Identifying process optimization possibilities
What you will bring
  • Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in electronic maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, or field operations within industrial environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause investigations and support failure analysis activities.
  • Experience supporting field personnel and providing technical expertise in electronic-related matters.
  • Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, test reports, and inspection records.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and operational excellence.
  • Proactive and self-motivated professional, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Availability to travel and work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
  • Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Previous experience in the In-Line Inspection (ILI) industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas, pipeline integrity, or related industrial sectors is preferred.
  • B2 Level of English
