Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Maintenance Lead in Peru to head the maintenance team and drive the Planned Maintenance process from development through implementation. You will play a key role in ensuring maintenance activities are executed effectively, proactively solving issues, and adopting a hands-on approach when needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years leading maintenance in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Proven track record developing and managing technical maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic and electromechanical maintenance.
• Hands-on PLC programming, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP or similar CMMS and standard digital tools.
• Intermediate level of English.
• TPM and industrial maintenance leadership experience.
• Education in Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure operational continuity and reliability of equipment and facilities.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement plans.
• Manage spare parts, external services, and resources for maintenance tasks.
• Participate in equipment modernization projects and safety/quality standards.

Your role at Clorox:

Join our team as a Maintenance Lead. In this role, you will lead the maintenance team and drive the Planned Maintenance process from development through implementation. You will play a key role in ensuring maintenance activities are effectively executed, proactively identifying and resolving issues through your team or taking a hands‑on approach when needed.
We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure the operational continuity and reliability of equipment and facilities.
• Drive problem‑solving through root cause analysis and improvement plans.
• Manage spare parts, external services, and resources required to perform maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment modernization projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industrial best‑practice standards.
• Manage plant automation systems, industrial control systems, and technical documentation.

What we look for:

• 6+ years of experience leading maintenance functions within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading, managing, and developing technical maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC programming, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Experience using maintenance management systems such as SAP or similar platforms, as well as standard digital tools.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Strong experience in TPMand industrial maintenance leadership.
• Education in Electronic Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields. Advanced students and graduates will be considered.
