Cold Steppe Inc. in Arkansas is hiring a Logistics Technician to keep AR-1's biomass flow moving. You will receive feedstock, track inventory, stage shipments, and work with carriers. No prior experience required; training is provided, and you will join one of our first frontline teams.
This role stresses safety, accuracy, and teamwork as we scale AR-1 and future sites. Certification for forklift is preferred, but we will train you to operate equipment and follow all PPE protocols.
Cold Steppe converts agricultural waste - rice hulls, sawdust, and other overlooked biomass - into biochar and renewable energy. Our mission is simple: To find what is left behind and turn it into something that moves us forward. Our first facility, AR-1, is coming online in Stuttgart, Arkansas, and the people who join now will help set the standard for every site that follows. Cold Steppe is a certified service-disabled veteran-owned business, and veterans, tradespeople, and anyone ready to learn are welcome here.

The Logistics Technician keeps material moving in and out of AR-1, receiving incoming biomass feedstock (rice hulls, sawdust, and other agricultural byproducts), managing inventory, and getting finished biochar staged and shipped out. No prior experience is required; we'll train you on our systems and equipment. This is one of our first frontline hires at AR-1 - you'll help build the habits this facility runs on.
Safety isn't a checkbox at Cold Steppe - it's one of our five core values. You'll get full training before working independently, and you're expected to stop the line if something doesn't look right, no exceptions.
Degrees aren't required for hire or advancement here, we look for talent, dedication, and skill. As AR-1 scales and future facilities come online, we're building structured paths from Logistics Technician into shift lead, supervisor, and specialized technical roles, along with SkillsBridge-aligned training and apprenticeship programs to help you grow with us.
