Job summary

Belong is seeking a Listing Associate in a remote-ready, fast-growth setting. You will own the end-to-end listing process for new, coming soon, and turnover homes, coordinating photoshoots, access, and data verification.

You’ll write compelling copy and ensure listings meet Belong’s standards, publishing across major platforms with a focus on speed and accuracy. You will drive listings from request to live, fix data issues promptly, and collaborate with Growth, Home Quality and Tour Operations

Qualifications

• 1+ years in operations, real estate, e-commerce catalog, marketplace or support roles with focus on accuracy and speed.
• Excellent written English skills suitable for drafting listing copy read by US Potential Residents.
• Comfort with web platforms, spreadsheets and admin tools; familiarity with Belong/Foundation systems (learn on the job).
• Daily use of AI tools to draft, check and accelerate work while ensuring AI accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own the listing queue for NEW LISTING, COMING SOON and TURNOVER LISTING: acknowledge, schedule, and track to publish.
• Book photoshoots and confirm access; chase assets until they land in Foundation.
• Ensure listing accuracy by cross-checking home profile, inspection, setup flow and 3D tour.
• Draft and finalize descriptions and media; fix AI alerts and optimize listings.
• Publish on Belong and push to Zillow, Zumper; syndicate across platforms where applicable.
• Triage and resolve Publish Failed alerts (duplicate listings, restricted areas, invalid data).
• Maintain Foundation timeline accuracy and handle revision requests across platforms.

The Role

As a Listing Associate, you take every new, coming soon and relisted home from request to live listing: photos booked, description written, features verified, published everywhere a Potential Resident might look. Every day a home is not listed is a day a homeowner loses income. Every wrong detail on a listing is a promise we cannot keep.

This is not a data-entry job. You own the queue. You chase access, photographers and missing data until the home is live, along with the systems to optimize this process. You do not wait to be asked “are we listing today?” You answer it before anyone has to.

What You'll Own

• The listing queue. Every NEW LISTING, COMING SOON and TURNOVER LISTING request is acknowledged in thread, scheduled, and tracked to publish. Nothing sits without a next step and a date.
• Photos and access. Book photoshoots with our photo vendors, confirm access (lockbox, smart lock, gate, front desk) before the photographer arrives, and chase assets until they land in Foundation. No wasted trips.
• Listing accuracy. Cross-check the home profile, inspection, setup flow and 3D tour before publishing. Heat, A/C, parking, laundry, pets, availability date and price are right every time. Resolve every listing accuracy check flag before the home goes live.
• Descriptions and media. Use the AI listing-description agent for drafts, then own the final copy: warm, specific, true to the home, and in Belong's voice. Fix agent alerts (unreadable photos, oversized uploads) the same day and provide feedback to enhance it.
• Publishing and syndication. Publish on Belong and push to Zillow and Zumper through the feed. Publish manually on Apartments.com, Craigslist and MLS where they apply. Run the Coming Soon flow with an estimated Show Ready date. Remove listings across every platform once a home is loved.
• Platform health. Triage every ZILLOW LISTING PUBLISH FAILED alert: find the cause (duplicate Homeowner listing, restricted area, invalid data), loop in the right Advisor, and get the home back up.
• Timeline and revisions. Keep the Foundation timeline accurate (photos scheduled, listing published, manual 3rd party listings published) and execute revision requests (price, photos, features, promos) on every platform.

What We're Looking For

On Experience

• 1+ years in operations, real estate, e-commerce catalog, marketplace or support roles where accuracy and speed were measured.
• Strong written English (C1). You will write listing copy that US Potential Residents read.
• Comfortable with web platforms, spreadsheets and admin tools. Foundation and Belong systems are learned on the job.
• Daily user of AI tools to draft, check and move faster, with the judgment to catch what AI gets wrong.

On Mindset

• You notice the missing parking spot, the wrong photo, the price that did not update. Details are not small to you.
• You own a home until it is live. Waiting on someone else is a reason to follow up, not a reason to stop.
• You communicate status before you are asked. Advisors always know where their home stands.
• You fix the process, not just the listing. If the same error happens twice, you flag the root cause.
• You work as one team with Growth, Home Quality and Tour Operations. No blame, just the next step.
