EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to join one of the world’s largest automotive services companies. You will lead the Engineering Platform Team, delivering scalable automation, and boosting developer productivity with AI-assisted best practices.

You will design reusable GitHub Actions, manage AWS infra with Terraform, and advance CI/CD pipelines while mentoring engineers and keeping security and compliance at the forefront.

Formación

• 5+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• Proven technical leadership with mentoring/ownership (1+ years).
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Expertise in AWS and Terraform.
• Skills in GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and CI/CD.
• Background in Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Linux.
• DevSecOps experience including security tooling (SonarQube, CodeQL, Veracode).
• Familiarity with PagerDuty for incident response.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot.
• Understanding of AI-assisted software development and prompt engineering.

You will work within the Engineering Platform Team, responsible for GitHub Enterprise, reusable developer automation, cloud infrastructure, and secure engineering enablement. The project domain covers Developer Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and Cloud Automation.

As a technical leader, you will remain hands‑on to deliver scalable platform automation, improve developer productivity, and establish AI‑assisted engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Competency in DevSecOps, operating production services, and security tooling (SonarQube, CodeQL, Veracode)
• Familiarity with PagerDuty for incident response
• Daily hands‑on experience with Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot
• Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM fundamentals, and AI‑assisted software development
• Capability to introduce AI into engineering workflows
• Strong written documentation skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Showcase of Anthropic Claude Code in real-world engineering scenarios
• Background in DevOps practices
• Knowledge of TypeScript and/or Node.js
