Performs a wide variety of financial analyses to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information that is used to make business performance assessments and capital investment/divestment decisions. Develops cross-functional partnerships to identify improvement opportunities and resolve performance issues. Supports major customers/clients and leads projects of medium scope and complexity under limited supervision. Detailed knowledge of most aspects of the work function. The candidate will be responsible for managing the financial reporting of key financial metrics of the asset assigned to business unit management and to the corporation. Additionally, will be in charge of making the forecast and explaining the variations.

Responsibilities
- Manages monthly, quarterly, and year-end close reporting processes as pertains to Budgets, Forecasts, and Financial Reporting group.
- Consolidation of financial statements from JV partners.
- Ensures Assets progress against established performance objectives (Earnings, Cash Flow, CAPEX & OPEX) is reported to management monthly, providing counsel and analysis to management of actual results versus performance targets. This includes an exhaustive review of the Financial Outlook monthly.
- Interact with corporate departments for the accounting of complex transactions.
- Analysis and modeling of different scenarios.
- Collaborate with Planning team with Business Plan preparation.
- Preparation of Ad-hoc reports as required by Business Unit management.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of previous related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in economic related studies
- Intermediate-Advanced level of English
Preferred Qualifications
- Proved experience in reporting and forecasting / general accounting roles, or as external auditor in Big Four accounting firms.
- Experience in consolidation of financial statements
- Upstream knowledge.
- Joint Venture accounting
- Strong client relationship, management and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational ability.
- Ability to work autonomously and as team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties.

- Apply accounting principles and policies to properly record, maintain, and report financial data associated with upstream activities

- Work collaboratively in a multi-discipline environment across teams and geographies
