Blend is a premier AI services provider focused on data science, AI, technology, and people to create value for clients. We seek a Lead Data Engineer to design scalable Snowflake-based data platforms on AWS for a leading enterprise client.

This client-facing leadership role combines deep technical execution with strong communication to ensure governed, reliable data pipelines powering analytics workflows.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Experience building ELT pipelines and data ingestion solutions.
• Solid SQL and large-scale data processing experience.
• Hands-on with Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Experience with data pipelines on AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and implementation of data ingestion architectures in Snowflake.
• Own end-to-end ELT pipelines across data sources.
• Design and enforce data quality frameworks with tests and monitoring.
• Apply Medallion Architecture best practices across pipelines.
• Build data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, etc.).
• Develop data validation frameworks and UI components when needed.
• Provide technical leadership in governance and pipeline reliability.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and mitigate before delivery.
• Contribute to data governance, lineage, and stewardship.
• Drive documentation and continuous improvement of data platform processes.
