Blend is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to architect and implement scalable Snowflake-based ingestion and validation solutions for a premier enterprise client. You will lead data platforms design, drive end-to-end ELT pipelines, and enforce governance and quality across analytics workflows.

This client-facing leadership role requires strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and deep expertise in modern data architectures on AWS. Join a team committed to innovation and impact.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience.
• ELT pipelines and data ingestion expertise.
• SQL proficiency and large-scale data processing.
• Medallion Architecture implementation knowledge.
• AWS data pipelines experience is a plus.
• Data quality, validation, and governance familiarity.
• CI/CD pipelines for data workflows is a plus.
• Familiarity with Iceberg/Snowflake data sharing is a plus.
• Experience with dbt, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and implementation of Snowflake-based ingestion architectures.
• Own end-to-end ELT pipelines integrating multiple data sources.
• Design data quality frameworks with validation, testing, and monitoring.
• Apply Medallion Architecture best practices across pipelines.
• Build and optimize data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR).
• Develop data validation and ingestion frameworks, including UI components if needed.
• Provide technical leadership on data governance, reliability, and best practices.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to data governance, lineage, and stewardship initiatives.
• Drive documentation and continuous improvement of platform processes.
