Blend is seeking a Lead Backend Data Engineer to design and scale backend services in Java, leading distributed data architectures for large-scale processing. You will mentor teams and drive architecture decisions across multi-service environments.

You will build and optimize concurrent applications, implement robust data pipelines, and oversee Kubernetes deployments with observability tooling to ensure reliability and performance for production workloads across LATAM operations.

Formación

• 5+ years in Backend Engineering or related fields with distributed systems focus.
• Strong knowledge of Java and modern backend frameworks.
• Experience with Kubernetes, SQL, and observability tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable backend systems using Java.
• Lead architecture of distributed systems for large-scale data processing.
• Develop concurrent and multi-threaded applications with synchronization.
• Build and maintain big data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate to define APIs and integration patterns.
