Blend is seeking a Lead Backend Data Engineer to drive scalable Java-based backend systems and distributed architectures. You will lead multi-service environments, optimize concurrency, and build data pipelines at scale.

You will mentor peers, collaborate across teams, and ensure robust observability with Grafana/Prometheus/Loki while supporting production deployments and performance improvements.

Formación

• Strong expertise in Java with advanced language features and best practices.
• Experience designing distributed systems with fault tolerance and data replication.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes for deployment and service management.
• Deep familiarity with SQL and database design fundamentals.
• Hands-on performance analysis and system profiling skills.
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana/Prometheus/Loki.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable backend systems using Java for production-grade apps.
• Lead architecture of distributed services ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Develop concurrent, multi-threaded apps with synchronization patterns.
• Build and maintain big data pipelines and processing infrastructure.
