Job summary

Americanflat seeks a Product Control Analyst to join our Product Control team, ensuring the integrity of daily financial results that drive business decisions. You will work closely with trading partners and Finance stakeholders to deliver timely insights and support a controlled close process.

In this role, you will prepare P&L and balance sheet reporting, perform variance analysis, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in product control or related finance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel with ability to build structured analyses.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset and commitment to strong controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily P&L and balance sheet reporting for assigned desks.
• Analyze and explain P&L movements with variance analysis and clear commentary.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, substantiation, and control checks.
• Partner with trading, Finance, and business management teams for reporting.
• Coordinate with front, middle, and back office support functions to resolve issues.
• Identify control gaps and implement enhancements to strengthen reporting and close processes.
• Provide analytical and project support for new initiatives and process improvements.
• Manage ad hoc analyses with strong prioritization and attention to detail.
