Job summary

Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort is seeking a Steward to ensure clean dishes and readiness of kitchen for the next shifts. You will wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware and help reset the kitchen. The role requires standing/walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications include guest service and food service experience, and the ability to interact with guests and staff in a polite, professional manner. This is an on-site role at Oaklawn's facilities.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience preferred.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform the physical job duties of all Steward team members.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically supports and demonstrates superior customer service.
• Maintains confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
• Provides impeccable guest service to all guests.
• Cleans up spills and removes trash; washes dishes and utensils.
• Sets up banquet kitchen for events and assists with tables and buffets.
