Job summary

Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook a variety of foods for all Food & Beverage venues. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and ensure timely opening of venues, while delivering impeccable guest service and adhering to health and safety regulations.

The role requires 1+ year of cooking and guest service experience, ability to multitask, and strong teamwork within the F&B team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' commercial cooking experience required.
• 1+ years' guest service experience required.
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Capable of performing physical duties of all Food & Beverage team members.
• Able to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues professionally.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to established recipes, menus, and business demand.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized work areas in compliance with health/safety regulations.
• Ensure venues are ready to open by the designated time set by management.
• Communicate food/product needs to ensure proper par levels and stock levels.
• Follow all Oaklawn policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
