Avature, a market-leading enterprise SaaS provider, invites a Jr Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Services team. You will support the implementation, operation, and improvement of cloud environments, develop Linux, automation, IaC, and reliability skills.

You'll collaborate with Development, Support, and Infrastructure to deliver scalable solutions while growing your expertise in cloud platforms and scripting in a fast-paced, remote-friendly setting.

Formación

• 1 year of experience in IT/DevOps/Support.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on Linux terminal usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing and IaC; AWS/Azure/GCP or Terraform a plus.
• English level: intermediate (B1+).
• Interest in Cloud Eng/DevOps with collaborative problem-solving.
• Willingness to learn AI tools and stay updated.

Responsabilidades

• Support stability and continuous improvement of cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot issues and automate repetitive tasks.
• Learn best practices for Linux, cloud infra, IaC, and docs.
• Assist provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
• Own Linux-based on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor environments and assist with alerts and incidents.
• Contribute to IaC, automation, and scripting activities.
• Document procedures and collaborate with other teams.

We are looking for a Jr Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Services team. You will support the implementation, operation, and improvement of cloud environments while developing your skills in Linux, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and service reliability.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and collaborate with Development, Support, and Infrastructure teams to provide reliable and scalable technical solutions.

Your challenges and objectives:

• Build a strong foundation in Cloud Engineering and infrastructure operations.
• Support the stability, availability, and continuous improvement of cloud environments.
• Develop your ability to troubleshoot technical issues and automate repetitive tasks.
• Learn and apply best practices for Linux, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, and documentation.
• Support the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
• Hold ownership and accountability over our Linux-based infrastructure on-prem and in the cloud.
• Monitor environments and assist with the investigation of alerts and incidents.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scripting activities.
• Document technical procedures and collaborate with other technical teams.

About you:

• At least 1 year of experience in a related role, such as Technical Support, IT Services, Software Development, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced stage or completed).
• Hands-on experience using Linux through the terminal, including filesystem navigation, common shell commands, service and process management, permissions, and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure, automation, and Infrastructure as Code; exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Terraform is a plus.
• Intermediate English level (B1 or higher).
• Interest in developing a career in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or DevOps, with an analytical and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work and genuinely interested in staying up to date with emerging AI capabilities.
