Avature, a leading global SaaS provider for talent acquisition and management, seeks a Cloud Security Engineer in Argentina. You will secure our hybrid AWS/on‑prem infrastructure, implement security controls, and collaborate with engineering to strengthen the platform’s defenses across deployments.

• Strong Linux knowledge, servers and DB hardening.
• Solid networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS basics.

As Cloud Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our platform’s security as it continues to grow, coming up with creative solutions to the unique challenges we face.

Your challenges and objectives:

• Achieve a deep understanding of our sophisticated infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the rest of our engineering teams in the design of a robust security layer.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in our security infrastructure and propose solutions.
• Look for vulnerabilities in our infrastructure.
• Audit activity in our platform.
• Work with our Audit and Risk teams to define policies and comply with client requirements.
• Analyze the specifications of our deployments and provide security for them.
• Implement security projects.
• Manage identity access (RBAC).

About you:

• Strong knowledge of Linux, including servers and database hardening.
• Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Knowledge of data encryption and key management, hybrid cloud security systems, and data protection (datacenters & AWS).
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, pen tests, incident detection and response.
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work and genuinely interested in staying up to date with emerging AI capabilities.
