Job summary

Assurant Services Argentina, S.A. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement software for industrial automation systems.

You will collaborate across engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions, including machine vision, ML, and data processing integration. The candidate should have 5+ years of professional software development, strong C++, Python, or C#, and experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming experience with C++, Python, and/or C#.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building scalable software solutions in industrial automation, manufacturing, logistics, or related environments.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architectures.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications supporting industrial automation systems.
• Develop scalable libraries, tools, APIs, reporting platforms, and visualization solutions to improve operational performance.
• Integrate machine vision systems, machine learning models, and data processing technologies into automation workflows.
• Collaborate with project managers, automation engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in technical leadership activities including architecture discussions, code reviews, best practice development, and research initiatives.
