Job summary

PwC Argentina seeks an External Audit - Associate to support audit engagements across client portfolios, evaluating financial statements, internal controls, governance and risk management processes. You will gather information, interpret findings, document results and apply professional standards while developing understanding of how the business works within PwC's global teams.

Qualifications

• Oral and written proficiency in English required
• Graduated or pursuing Public Accountant or Business Administration with at least 70% of University Degree completed

Responsibilities

• Supporting external audit procedures by gathering financial records, reconciling account details, and organizing client-provided documentation
• Performing walkthroughs of processes and internal controls to help identify control points and document findings
• Testing balances, transactions, and supporting schedules using audit tools and established methodologies
• Preparing clear workpapers, summaries, and audit documentation for review by senior team members
• Communicating with client contacts to request information, clarify submissions, and track outstanding items
• Researching accounting guidance, audit standards, and industry requirements to support engagement tasks
• Analyzing data sets and identifying anomalies, trends, and follow-up items that require additional review
• Contributing to issue tracking, status updates, and team coordination throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
• Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices
