PwC Argentina's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires seeks an External Audit - Associate to learn and contribute to client engagements across Assurance. You will help provide reasonable assurance on financial statements and internal controls while developing your skills and professional brand in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics with 70% completed.
• Entry-level role for students in final year or recent graduates.
• Oral and written English proficiency required.

As an External Audit - Associate, you will engage in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.
Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a dynamic team that evaluates compliance with regulations, including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. You will be expected to adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. Responsibilities

• Conducting external audits to evaluate financial statements and internal controls
• Applying Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in audit processes
• Analyzing financial transactions and disclosures to identify potential misstatements
• Collaborating with clients to understand their business operations and financial reporting needs
• Utilizing data analysis and interpretation to discern patterns and trends in financial data
• Reviewing and verifying financial documents to validate compliance with regulations
• Implementing auditing methodologies to assess governance and risk management processes
• Developing data visualization techniques to present audit findings effectively
• Engaging in client management to build and maintain professional relationships
• Participating in project management tasks to validate timely completion of audit engagements
• Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
• Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics with at least 70% of University Degree completed
• Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
