Talan Spain is seeking a Technical Lead – Full Stack Java Engineer to join our Credit Risk team. You will own critical applications, guiding design, development, and support while actively coding to ensure secure, resilient, and highly available systems.

You will mentor engineers, promote best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders across technology and business units. This hybrid role is based in Spain with opportunities to manage work permits.

Formación

• 7+ years of software development in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years in Technical Lead responsibilities.
• 5+ years Java development experience.
• Strong backend development with Java 21; frontend with Angular.
• Experience with Maven, Node.js, relational DB.
• RESTful APIs, microservices, enterprise apps.
• Unit testing and automated testing practices.
• OO design and API best practices.
• Agile, CI/CD, DevOps.
• Security and maintainability awareness.
• Enterprise software solutions and system architecture.
• English level C1+.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the technical owner for Credit Risk applications and services.
• Provide Level 3 production support for incidents and requests.
• Design, develop, test, and implement new features and fixes.
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology and business teams.
• Support audit, risk, and compliance initiatives.
