Mercor is seeking experts in history and political science to author and review high-quality academic assessment content for an AI research initiative. You will write and verify rigorous MCQs across core domains, evaluate solutions, and help establish gold-standard benchmarks for advancing AI capabilities.

You will work on one of two tasks: author original questions or verify existing ones. This role is fully remote with asynchronous collaboration and requires 10+ hours per week.

Formación

• PhD or doctoral candidate in History, Political Science, International Relations, or closely related field.
• Strong command of historiography, political theory, and comparative analysis.
• Excellent written English and ability to express complex ideas clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Author original history and political science questions that test deep conceptual understanding.
• Review pre-written questions for accuracy, clarity, and rigor, editing where needed.
• Rate difficulty levels: Medium, Hard, or Expert; provide solutions and justifications.
• Provide 1 correct answer and 9 plausible alternatives with concise reasoning.
• Supply 1–5 academic references per question from reputable sources.
