Job summary

Your Independent Grocer is hiring store clerks to support customers and keep shelves stocked across various departments. Training is provided at the start, and employees will engage with shoppers to meet needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Flexibility to work a mix of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends is valued. You’ll move about the store and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a focus on sustainability and community engagement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Flexible to work in multiple departments and varied hours (days/evenings/weekends).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on the move throughout shift.

What you'll do

• Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs
• Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards
• Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering
• Setup company-directed promotions and programs
• Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards
