AppDirect, Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to join a small team reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting. The role covers daily maintenance and project work to improve processes, with a hybrid schedule (1 day onsite, 4 days remote).

Responsibilities include month-end close, tax filings, AR/AP, vendor management, and collaboration with auditors. CPA designation or progress is preferred; 2+ years experience and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• CPA designation or actively pursuing
• 2+ years accounting experience
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Familiarity with audits, sales and income tax basics
• Familiarity with banking/payment portals (Stripe/Paypal) preferred
• Attention to detail and data analysis
• Ability to spot trends and anomalies

Aufgaben

• Record all economic transactions into the accounting system and platforms
• Perform month-end close operations including reconciliations and consolidations
• Handle filing of tax-related items (sales/franchise taxes)
• Assist during audit season by coordinating with auditors
• Participate in AR and AP functions, vendor/customer setup, cash inflows/outflows
• Process new sales orders and contract setups
• Manage cash across platforms
• Assist teammates with ad hoc requests
• Communicate with clients and vendors
• Track and update figures and reports
