Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional LAC team. You will manage software licensing requests, interpret terms across multiple publishers, and maintain asset records to ensure compliance and cost optimization.

You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering across Latin America and other regions, handling renewals, audits and licensing challenges in a high-volume environment while driving process improvements and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with significant SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio and entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization, and audits.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with ability to collaborate regionally and globally.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
