Jiga in Argentina is seeking a Logistics Manager to own the end-to-end movement of parts from suppliers to customers worldwide, balancing time, cost, and compliance across Asia, Israel, the US, and the EU.

You will negotiate rates with forwarders, choose modes, lead customs and trade compliance, and price freight to protect margins, while collaborating with Sales and Suppliers to keep shipments delivered on time.

Formación

• Have 5+ years of hands-on international logistics or freight-forwarding experience, ideally in contract manufacturing, hardware, or high-mix industrial settings.
• Have negotiated freight rates with forwarders and couriers, with real-money impact on lanes.
• Have lived in the documentation side of international trade: HTS codes, invoices, packing lists, IORs, bonds, CBP replies.
• Think landed cost, Incoterms, margin and customer experience, not just operations.
• Can read a PDF engineering drawing to assess freight implications for packaging and shipment.
• Communicate in short, direct, action-oriented messages and escalate clearly when needed.
• Excited about a fast-moving startup and comfortable as the operational adult in the room.
• Fluent in English; Hebrew, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or German a bonus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable in a remote, async toolset (Slack, Notion, Loom, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Own international freight across air, ocean, and courier — from Asia to Israel, the US, and the EU, with defense-adjacent lanes growing.
• Quote, negotiate, and book shipments with global forwarders; select modes based on time, complexity, and constraints.
• Manage freight cost recovery from buyers and dispute surcharges with forwarders.
• Own customs and trade compliance end-to-end; guide the Logistics Admin who handles filings and documentation.
• Be the commercial partner Sales wants — advise on landed cost, Incoterms, and pricing to protect margins.
• Coordinate daily with manufacturing partners on shipment readiness and packing; support supplier-expediting as needed.
• Push the platform forward by documenting recurring issues and building playbooks; advocate for necessary automation when manual work proves effective.
