Job summary

EY is seeking an Information Security Policy Specialist to create, maintain, and communicate global information security policies and standards for technology professionals and EY’s workforce. You will join a global team of over 950 professionals delivering risk management, cyber defense, and policy enablement.

The role sits within the PRC Enablement & Awareness team under TARP, translating security requirements into clear policies, education, and practical guidance across EY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in document governance or related role.
• 5+ years in security compliance, IT risk, or IT security assurance.
• Experience drafting information security policies, standards, or procedures.
• Knowledge of ISO27000, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a global framework for information security policies and standards lifecycle.
• Develop and update IS policies with cross‑functional teams leveraging international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify policy gaps; recommend requirements aligned with business needs and industry practices.
• Review policies regularly for relevance and applicability.
• Translate technical input into clear, actionable IS policies for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Align documents with EY policies and standards.
• Communicate policy requirements through written guidance, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
• Contribute to proposals and related materials as needed.
• Track and report IS policy program metrics.
