SoFi Tech Solutions in Argentina seeks an experienced accounting professional to lead key close activities under US GAAP and Argentina GAAP. You will partner cross-functionally to ensure compliant processes, support audits and SEC/SOX, and drive automation. The role requires 2+ years in accounting, Big 4 preferred, and advanced English; MS Excel skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting required or expected.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in similar roles.
• Big 4 experience preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and written communication.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Argentine standards.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across finance, operations, legal and HR.

Responsabilités

• Participate in month-, quarter-, and year-end close to support accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare standard journal entries and monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts under US GAAP and Argentina GAAP.
• Collaborate with accounting staff on day-to-day routines and reconciliations.
• Execute assigned accounting workflows and escalate non-standard issues or variances.
• Research and apply appropriate accounting treatments to contracts and new transactions.
• Support quarterly and annual SEC filings and SOX compliance.
• Assist audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business decisions with accurate data analysis.
