Job summary

Chevron is seeking a leader for Property Accounting supporting US Offshore operations. The role requires guiding a team, ensuring accurate capital expenditures accounting, asset additions, transfers, retirements, impairments, and depreciation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8–10 years of accounting and finance experience with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with SAP and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Advanced English proficiency, verbal and written.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing teams and complex accounting processes.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with SAP and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and control requirements.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Language Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency, including verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Upstream Oil & Gas operations.
• Experience in Property Accounting, Fixed Assets, Capital Projects, or Upstream Finance operations.
