Position Description

Bridgenext is looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with experience in Node.JS/TypeScript, microservices, and cloud technologies. In this role you will primarily be working with Node.JS and TypeScript on a Cloud based SaaS product (hosted on Azure Kubernetes cluster). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join an established team with a fun culture, where there is opportunity for growth and mentorship. You will also be working on an exciting 3PL product from scratch with the latest technology stack. You will be doing hands on coding with Node.JS to build backend services, as well as React framework to do front end development. You will also be developing GraphQL APIs and server-side applications that are integrated using Kafka.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with passionate and professional team of engineers which is committed to build great software.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and other developers across the company to design and build a cloud-based SaaS product for transportation management.
• Develop GraphQL API’s for web and mobile clients in the Micro services based architecture
• Contribute to all layers of the system including microservices, user interface, Kafka consumers-producers, and more.
• Engage in the full development life-cycle including architectural design and testing
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Be a force-multiplier on the velocity and quality of your team
• Stay current on software engineering trends & tools, and be practical but open-minded in applying them
• Maintain a high bar for quality, and performance, observability, and resiliency of your product with vigorous attention to detail and unit testing
• Continuously improve how we design, build, and ship software as a highly functional team

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of practical experience in software development, including designing, building, deploying, and maintaining web applications
• 2-5 years of experience developing Node.JS applications
• Strong English communication skills
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with Express or Nest Frameworks
• Exposure to building GraphQL APIs and Kafka consumers-producers
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Experience performing Node Unit Testing
• Experience with React Framework

Nice To Have Skills:

• Exposure to Logistics Industry
• Experience with Azure services And Kubernetes
• Experience with NoSQL ane Cosmos
