Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable microservices and REST APIs, collaborating with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams.

You will contribute to a high-traffic backend, ensure code quality with unit and integration tests, and help deploy production-grade services using modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend experience with Python.
• Deep understanding of Python core concepts (OOP, functional programming, memory management, async/concurrency, data structures).
• API & Microservices: Proven track record of building and deploying production-grade REST APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
• Databases: Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Testing: Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Pytest.
• Version Control: Advanced proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
